| What are Flower Essences?
All of Nature generates a language of healing. Translating this language
into practice requires intuition, close observation, synthesis, courage,
and deep love. Dr. Edward Bach, a compassionate medical doctor, was such
a person. Bach practiced for many years as a bacteriologist. He later
shifted his practice to homeopathic medicine. Then, in the 1930’s,
he translated an addition to Nature’s medicine bag —
Flower Essences.
Not to be confused with aromatherapy, Flower Essences carry no
scent from their natural source. Bach made these healing liquids
from flower
blossoms using dew drops and a bowl for his early preparations. He
set up strict guidelines for creating these precious gifts and in
the 21st century, his methodology continues on every continent.

Today, we make Flower Essences from blossoms and in Alaska from
gems and even environmental occurrences such as northern lights,
solstice
storms, and tidal forces. Though prepared, researched, and studied
from a different perspective than homeopathic remedies, Flower Essences
and remedies share a common link. They work through Nature’s
language of vibrational fields and patterns, gently guiding the life
force of those needing assistance.
