Mazie

Mazie is a 17 year old mixed breed foundling who has been with her beloved family for years. Mazie’s family went to summer camp and her care was entrusted to a caring dog sitter. Somehow, Mazie got out of her house and was lost for over 10 days. By the time her human, Helen, was told about her disappearance, Mazie had been given up for lost.

Unbelievably after this length of time, Mazie was found wedged between two buildings. When Helen first brought her in, she was covered with oozing sores where her fur had been rubbed away. She had become unable to use her back legs and her life spirit was dimmed from the trauma.

The focus of Mazie’s treatment was homeopathic remedies. The first remedy given was to help her heal from the trauma. Amazingly, her spirit returned quickly and after the first treatment she was able to walk again.

The next remedies given (one remedy at a time) were to help her body and skin recover. I gave Mazie two different remedies and within a month the skin had healed and her fur was growing back.

The last remedy I prescribed was to treat her constitutionally (the remedy that was the closest to Mazie’s beautiful spirit.) The last time I saw Mazie, she seemed like the spry old girl who Helen had described – the light from her eyes was beautiful!
