Sally M. Savitz, M.S., L.Ac., D.Hom.

For over 20 years, Sally Savitz has treated humans and 4-legged creatures of all ages with Homeopathy and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She teaches and lectures locally on these topics. Her practice has been commended in publications dealing with infertility, cancer, and other 21st century ailments.

Sally envisioned the idea of a complementary clinic that would support low income women with cancer. She helped with many other dedicated people to create the Charlotte Maxwell Complementary Clinic. This one-of-a-kind state licensed health clinic provides complementary alternative medical treatments free of charge to low income women with cancer. Services include acupuncture, Chinese herbs, Western herbs, homeopathy, massage, and therapeutic imagery.

She has completed 12 marathons and in 1982 won gold medal at the first Gay Games Marathon. Sally was also the recipient of the National Organization of Women Fabulous Feminist Award in 1992 for her many service related activities.

Sally attended Mills College in Oakland, CA and received her Masters in Science from Hayward State University. She continued her post graduate work at the San Francisco College of Traditional Medicine, the Hahnemann Clinic’s School of Homeopathy, and the California Pacific College of Naturopathy.

Her mother was a nurse and athlete — her father a cardiologist. Both inspired and helped shape her healing philosophy — one built on a foundation of love and compassion.
