Cheryl Schwartz, D.V.M.

Cheryl Schwartz is one of the pioneers of the holistic veterinarian movement and has been in practice for over 25 years. She is the founder of the EastWest Animal Care Center in Oakland, CA, one of the first holistic centers of its kind. Cheryl is also one of the original members of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association and past Board member of the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society.

She teaches herbology and veterinary acupuncture accreditation courses worldwide and is a frequent lecturer for humane societies and private animal training groups. Cheryl is the author of two books: Four Paws Five Directions, A Guide to Chinese Medicine for Cats and Dogs and Natural Healing for Dogs & Cats from A-Z.
